Programmes have naughty bits. Good words that have become bad, last year’s phone numbers, quiz questions that are out of date, and tasteless jokes. Dealing with them is the easy part.

Content may be sold globally, but will be viewed locally, and that’s where taste, decency, regulations and the law are based. And these must be respected – as we would expect other countries to respect our laws.

TVT have developed a wholly original software application that has streamlined the infinite complexities of international compliance so that every programme can be assessed and approved for all markets in one pass. Our system won’t replace OFCOM, but it does allow TVT to be confident that content will not be offensive or unlawful because times have changed or because it’s crossed a national or cultural border.
